Andrea Sugden is a graduate of the University of Tampa and has lived most of her life in the Tampa Bay area. Still in the city, Andrea Sugden serves as senior vice president of national accounts for Tampa-based Adecco.
The University of Tampa recently received an award for its renowned University of Tampa Entrepreneurship Center. The United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship recognized the center with this year’s Outstanding Emerging Entrepreneurship Program Award. The award is given to programs that have made great strides in innovation, quality, variety, and overall impact despite having been in service for no more than three years. The University of Tampa program currently serves 250 undergraduate and graduate students. The program previously catered to family businesses, but refocused on the entrepreneurial mindset. The program has added such depth to its services that it is attracting students who are not solely interested in establishing their own business.
